Alyssa and Rich were married at the inspiring St. Ignatius Loyola church on the upper east. They dinned and danced through the evening among joyous friends, family and guests under the beautiful chandeliered ballroom of the St. Regis Hotel. I was happy to join Christopher Duggan of Threshold Visions to photograph this amazing wedding.

We all had fun on this rare sunny day in June relaxing by the swing set in the Schwartz’s backyard in New Jersey.
Serah and Min readied in a side room of the Park Avenue Christian Church after our stroll in the park. The grand setting of Church made for a powerful ceremony.
Serah and Min built in several hours between events to relax and for portrait sessions. First, before the ceremony, we took a stroll in Central Park and then after the ceremony we perused the cityscape under the Brooklyn Bridge in Dumbo before heading to the reception.
My primary objective when photographing a wedding is to be a quiet documentarian capturing the spontaneity of all planned and unplanned happenings throughout the day. However, the bride and groom portrait sessions are great for posterity and can be a relaxing and as fun as a stroll through the park.

I pulled out the tripod and the remote for this shoot in Elysian Park along the Hoboken waterfront. The process was tedious, it was difficult to know when the camera was actually going to take a picture. I also had some fun doing a few creative ring shots at home.
How do you think they turned out?
I caught up with Kristy & Dave after photographing their wedding back in April. This time they brought along the pups and we took a relaxed stroll along the waterfront in Hoboken.
